"Where is my order?" answered from the real order.
Noctiv reads the order number from the e-mail, asks your store, checks the sender owns the order, and replies with the status and tracking link. Anything unclear comes to you.
Rules, not guesses.
Only the owner of the order
The order is used only if the sender's e-mail matches the order. Otherwise nothing is revealed and the customer is asked for the order number and checkout e-mail.
Only facts
Status, carrier, tracking and expected delivery from the store. No payment details, no addresses. The wording is checked against those facts.
You get the hard cases
Not found, cancelled, refunded, partly shipped, no tracking, a late parcel, refund or return requests and angry e-mails are handed to you.
Read-only, by design.
Noctiv asks your store for one permission: to read orders. It has none that would let it change anything, so it cannot edit, cancel, refund or fulfil an order even by mistake.
On Shopify the permission is read_orders, and a connection offering more is
refused. On WooCommerce you create a key with Read permission, which you can revoke in
WordPress at any time.
- Reads: order number, date, payment and delivery status
- Reads: carrier, tracking number and link, items shipped
- Never reads payment details or full addresses
- Looks the order up live; nothing but a short summary is kept
- Disconnect in one tap, and the stored access is deleted
"Please cancel my order" always comes to you.
This is the one order e-mail that must never be answered by a machine, so it isn't — in any reply mode. Noctiv never cancels an order. The conversation is marked urgent in your inbox with the order it refers to, and you are notified, so you can cancel it in your store yourself or write back and explain why it is too late. The customer is never told an order was cancelled when it was not.
