Customer e-mail for Shopify stores, answered overnight.

Noctiv reads the inbox your store's contact address goes to, drafts replies from your own shipping, returns and product pages, and nudges the shoppers who asked a question and went quiet. You approve from your phone.

The e-mails a Shopify store gets every day.

Most of them are the same few questions, asked at 23:00 by someone deciding whether to check out. Noctiv answers from what your store already says, in the shopper's language.

Shipping times and costs

"Do you ship to Austria? How long does it take?" Answered from your shipping page: zones, prices, dispatch times and carriers, exactly as you wrote them.

Product questions before buying

Sizes, materials, care, what's in the box, whether two items fit together. If your product pages or notes don't say it, Noctiv asks you instead of guessing.

Returns and exchanges

How many days, who pays the return label, how to start one. The policy question is answered; an actual refund request always comes to you.

Payment and discount codes

Which payment methods you accept, whether a code can be combined. Requests for a discount are never answered automatically: they are yours to decide.

Wholesale and bulk orders

A café wants 40 mugs? With Quotes (beta) switched on, Noctiv prepares a quote from your price list as a PDF with an Accept link, and waits for your approval.

"Where is my order?"

Noctiv can't look up Shopify orders yet (the integration is marked coming soon). General delivery times are answered from your policy; a question about one specific order is passed to you with a short summary.

An example reply.

A shopper writes late on a Sunday. The draft is ready a minute later, built only from the store's shipping and returns pages, and waits for the owner's click in the morning.

Example store and numbers. Noctiv uses your own, and checks every number in a draft against your knowledge base.

Lena K. · customer
Hi! Do you ship the stoneware mug set to Austria, and how long would it take? And if my sister doesn't like the colour, can I send it back?
Noctiv · draft reply
Hi Lena, yes, we ship to Austria. Orders leave our workshop within 2 business days and usually arrive 3–5 business days later; shipping is €7.50. Unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, so your sister has time to decide. Would you like the link to the mug set?

What stays with you.

A shop's reputation is made in the difficult e-mails. Those are never sent on their own, in any mode.

  • Complaints, damaged items and refund requests
  • Angry or urgent messages, and anything legal
  • Requests for a discount or a special deal
  • Questions your pages and notes don't answer
  • Each arrives on your phone as a two-line summary with a link to reply

No Shopify app to install.

Noctiv works on the mailbox, not inside Shopify. You connect the address customers write to (the one on your contact page and in your order e-mails) with an App Password, and add your store's URL: Noctiv reads the shipping, returns, FAQ and product pages and keeps them fresh. Add notes for anything the site doesn't say.

Shoppers who asked a question and didn't reply get a short, personal follow-up after three days, sent during business hours, at most twice. It stops the moment they answer. Every conversation lands in a simple lead list with its stage: received, replied, followed up, won.

Your mailbox, as it is.

Works with any business mailbox — Gmail, Google Workspace, Hostinger, Zoho, any IMAP — not just Gmail. Connected in 2 minutes; no migration, no new helpdesk.

Replies go out from your own address and appear in your Sent folder. Outlook and Microsoft 365 are not supported yet.
