Connect a Hostinger mailbox.

Hostinger mailboxes connect with your full e-mail address and the mailbox password. Choose Hostinger in Noctiv and the servers are filled in for you.

Steps

  1. In Hostinger's hPanel, open Emails and find the mailbox you want to connect. Under Connect apps & devices you'll see the sign-in details.
  2. In Noctiv, go to Settings → Mailboxes (or the onboarding step), choose Hostinger and enter your full e-mail address.
  3. Enter the mailbox password. If you don't know it, you can reset it in hPanel → Emails.
  4. Press Test connection. When both checks pass, save.

Server settings

Noctiv uses these for Hostinger; you only need them if you connect as "Other (IMAP/SMTP)".

  • Incoming (IMAP): imap.hostinger.com, port 993, SSL
  • Outgoing (SMTP): smtp.hostinger.com, port 465, SSL

If you use two-factor sign-in for webmail

Create a separate password for apps if your account offers one, and use that instead of your webmail password.

Other hosts

IONOS, STRATO, one.com, OVHcloud, GoDaddy and most web hosts work the same way: the mailbox password from your hosting control panel, with the servers your host lists. Noctiv only accepts encrypted connections (IMAP 993, SMTP 465 or 587). If you type your address into the Noctiv Assistant, it often recognises the host and fills in the servers.
