Connect Zoho Mail.
Zoho Mail connects with IMAP and an App Password. Turn IMAP on, generate the password, and paste it into Noctiv.
1. Turn on IMAP access
In Zoho Mail, open Settings → Mail Accounts, choose your address and make sure IMAP Access is switched on.
2. Generate an App Password
- Open accounts.zoho.com (your Zoho account) and go to Security.
- Open App Passwords and choose Generate New Password.
- Name it "Noctiv" and copy the password Zoho shows.
3. Connect in Noctiv
In Settings → Mailboxes, choose Other (IMAP/SMTP), enter your address and the App Password, and the servers below. If you give the Noctiv Assistant your address, it recognises Zoho from your domain and fills them in.
Zoho uses different servers for business and personal addresses:
- Your own domain (you@yourbusiness.com): incoming imappro.zoho.com, port 993; outgoing smtppro.zoho.com, port 465
- A personal Zoho address (@zoho.com, @zohomail.com): incoming imap.zoho.com, port 993; outgoing smtp.zoho.com, port 465
If your account is in Zoho's EU data centre, use .eu instead of .com (for example imappro.zoho.eu); other regions use their own ending, such as .in or .com.au. Zoho shows the exact servers for your account in Zoho Mail → Settings → Mail Accounts → IMAP.
Noctiv tests reading and sending before it saves anything, and stores the password encrypted. To disconnect, delete the App Password in your Zoho account.
