CMR consignment notes (beta).

For businesses that ship goods by road: the standard CMR form, filled from your details and the customer's order e-mail, as one PDF with four copies.

The form

The standard layout with boxes 1–24 (sender, consignee, places and dates, goods, weights and volumes, instructions, carrier, signatures), the vehicle registration and the convention clause. Labels are in English and French, as on the usual form. The PDF has four copies, one per page: sender, consignee, carrier and an extra copy.

Pre-fill from an order e-mail

  1. Open the customer's e-mail in the Inbox and choose "Draft CMR from this e-mail".
  2. Noctiv fills the fields it can find in that e-mail. Each one is kept only if its exact text appears in the e-mail, and numbers and dates are read from that text by code.
  3. Pre-filled fields are highlighted with the text they came from. The sender is always your own details.
  4. Check every highlighted field and confirm; only then can the CMR be issued and the PDF made.

After issuing

The CMR gets its number (CMR-2026-0001 by default, or your own prefix) and can be sent as an attachment on a reply, then marked as delivered. The e-mail excerpts used for pre-fill are removed once it's issued.
