Quotes (beta).

When a customer asks what something costs, Noctiv can reply with a numbered quote from your price list, as a PDF with an Accept link. Switch it on in Settings → Quotes (beta).

Your price list

Add items by hand, import a CSV, or upload the PDF or Word price list you already have. Items read from a file arrive as drafts: you check and confirm each one. Only confirmed items are ever quoted.

How a quote is made

  • Noctiv matches what the customer asked for to items on your list.
  • Quantities must come from the customer's e-mail; totals, VAT, the quote number and the validity date are computed in code, never by the AI.
  • Parts it can't match are answered from your knowledge base or passed to you; if nothing matches, it asks the customer one clarifying question.

What the customer gets

A short reply with the quote attached as a PDF (with your logo and colour) and a link to accept it online. On that page they enter their billing details and press Accept; you're told straight away. The quote, the page and the PDF use the customer's language.

Sending rules

In mode 1 every quote waits for you, and you can change quantities, remove lines or add items before sending. In modes 2 and 3 a quote is sent on its own only if every line matched, and the total is at or under your automatic-send limit (€500 unless you change it).

After acceptance

With Documents (beta) on, an accepted quote can become an invoice automatically. See invoices and payments.
